    • LCD Soundsystem Share Video for New Song “Tonite”
      LCD Soundsystem are releasing their long-awaited new album, American Dream, on September 1 via Columbia/DFA. It includes two songs the band released in May, "Call the Police" and title track "American Dream."

    • St. Vincent to Direct New Female-Led Film Adaptation of “The Picture of Dorian Gray”
      St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) directed one segment ("The Birthday Party") of the horror film anthology XX. It featured four different horror tales, each directed by a different woman, and released back in February. 
    • Watch: Foxygen - “Avalon” Video
      Foxygen released a new album, Hang, back in January via Jagjaguwar. Now they have shared a video for "Avalon." It begins with the band's Jonathan Rado and Sam France disagreeing on who should direct the video between the two of them and what direction the video should take.

      Queens of the Stone Age are releasing a new album, the Mark Ronson-produced Villains, on August 25 via Matador. Previously they shared the album's "The Way You Used to Do" and "The Evil Has Landed."Now "The Way You Used to Do" has a video.

lauraThere is more than a hint of the GoGo’s by way of Pat Benatar here courtesy of Laura Stevenson with this song from Cocksure, her latest record released in October.  She comes across her talent naturally. Her grandfather was Harry Simeone, the pianist and composer who penned “The Little Drummer Boy,” and “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
