    • My Life In Rewind: Eagulls July 28, 2016
Clash braves the Brighton beach-front for a quick catch up...The release of a second album is always spoken about with a looming mist of scepticism and an awareness that darkened days could be ahead. ‘Ullages’ presented a monumental time for Eagulls, even before the release back in May of this year. Appearing at The Great Escape, going on a tour that would s […]
    • Premiere: J Churcher - 'Riding On Your Love' (Acoustic) July 28, 2016
A hushed, ghostly recording...It's fair to say that J Churcher has been working on his debut album for some time. The songwriter worked alone for two years, before the introduction of producer Dreamtrak seemed to allow the process to fall together. Debut album 'Borderland State' arrives on September 9th through 37 Adventures, and it's a v […]

Check out their version of 'Comfortably Numb'...Lonely The Brave released their second album 'Things Will Matter' earlier this year, a deeply personal document that found the band in a rich vein of creative form. Production was taut, brisk, allowing the Cambridge group to fully capture their live energy while also adding the control of a […]
    • Swans - The Glowing Man July 28, 2016
A remarkable closing chapter for the project's current iteration...Listening to an album by American noise rock experimentalists Swans - especially their most recent output - is an experience like no other, the musical equivalent of popping on an Oculus Rift headset and skydiving straight into the unknown. 2012’s ‘The Seer’ and it’s 2014 follow-up, ‘To […]

Soothing electronic pop music...Amethysts occupy a world unto themselves. A two-piece, the pair operate from their own studio, conducting emotive experiments on pop music. Layers of guitar effects craft a warm, supple bed, with drifting electronics adding to the haze of murky suggestion. New cut 'My Love' neatly encapsulates their charm, with the p […]
    • Flowdan - Disaster Piece July 28, 2016
Grime legend goes that little bit deeper...Flowdan, though a veteran of the grime scene, is not an artist with an extensive body of work to his name. He’s more known for a handful of big wheel-up anthems, and usually as a featuring MC on a more noted producer’s record sleeve (The Bug’s ‘Skeng’ being the most obvious example). As such, an album represents mor […]
