      Montreal trio Braids have announced a new EP, entitled Companion, that's due out May 20 via Arbutus/Flemish Eye. They have shared a video for the title track and announced some tour dates. The EP features four songs recorded during the sessions for 2014's Deep In the Iris.

    Great set of covers. May I also recommend this great live version by the Picketts? They do wonderful originals and clever covers (including “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” and Yoko’s “Walking On Thin Ice”.)
