    • Listen: James Blake - “Modern Soul”
James Blake has debuted a new song on his BBC Radio 1 show as part of his residency. It's entitled "Modern Soul" and you can stream it below.
    • SVIIB
This is a very good pop record. Opening track "Ablaze" sets the tone with euphoric synths and 'ah's, getting you moving right from the start. Nitpicking, but this extended intro (the vocals don't come in until 0:51) leaves one hoping for a single edit that will get us to the dreamy sway of the verse that much quicker.
    • Standoff’s Thomas Jane
Thomas Jane tells us about feeling like a humble musician on the set of Standoff, in between dodging bullets and engaging in heated dialogue with Laurence Fishburne.
    • Zoolander 2
Credit is due to Ben Stiller for not letting 15 years of cult audience growth convince him to take his (arguably) most popular comic creation too seriously.
    • Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker to Score “Likely Stories” TV Series Based on Neil Gaiman Short Stories

    • Watch: Jeff Buckley - “I Know It’s Over” (The Smiths Cover) Video
It's a bit strange for there to be a new Jeff Buckley video, especially as it's for an unreleased cover of The Smiths' "I Know It's Over" that Buckley probably never intended for release. Buckley only released one full-length studio album, 1994's Grace, before his tragic passing in 1997. Since then various Buckley recording […]

Great set of covers. May I also recommend this great live version by the Picketts? They do wonderful originals and clever covers (including “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” and Yoko’s “Walking On Thin Ice”.)
